When Dates Go South, GIRLS NIGHT OUT! :)

That's right ladies, it's a girls night out! It's bound to be a fabulous night!

Me and my best friend Sammiy are going out to our FAVORITE restaurant Thai Basil! Then we are going to go see Charlie St. Cloud! Although technically it's not a "girl" night, seeing as we are taking our friend Josh. But hey, he can count as a girl tonight. Hahah!

I'm super excited to see this movie, 1st of all because it looks like a tear-jerker. 2nd of all, because Zac Efron is SO hot! :)
<--- just look at him. ;) oh yes.

Well, it's off to get us some grub! :P Yumm!

Later days!

Me, Myself, and Time

Today, has been a crazy crazy day. My sister Shelby is going to EFY up in Rigby, Idaho and so we had to take her to the airport. It is only her second time going on a plane, and her first time going alone. So I gave her all my airplane advise! :) Hahaha. Since I've been riding in planes alone since I was five. Awe the joys of being able to travel so much back then. :) To make a long story short, I miss my sister. But she is going to have SO much fun! I'm happy for her, and proud of her for going alone. Anyways.
I've been thinking a lot lately about a mission. I have a couple of friends out on missions, 2 of them are sister missionaries. It's got me thinking about going on one myself. Even though it's still 2 years away till I actually need to consider it, it's just something that has crossed my mind. I would SO love to be sent somewhere in Europe, or maybe Canada! Since I love both of those places.
I went to Europe last summer with my cousin Brooke. We went on a tour for 3 weeks! It was the most AMAZING experience! We started in Germany, then went to Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, and England. Oh man, it was just the greatest experience ever! I can't wait to get back there someday! I'd have to say Switzerland and London were my favorites! It was the cleanest, and they spoke English. So it was a little more convenient. :)
Here's some photos!
This is Germany. We were at the top of a ruined castle there and this was the view of the city! So pretty!

This is in Dachau. It was a concentration camp. I think that place changed my life. Me and my cousin set out and explored around the camp looking for photo ops and I stumbled across this row of trees and I snapped the picture, but when I brought it up on my computer I noticed on the tree closest to the camera there is a Jewish star etched into the bark. It made for a really good photo.

This is London, of course! And let me tell you that phone booth...STUNK! So so so so bad! That's why we were laughing so hard, it was repulsive! But made for a good memory.

Awe, the Eiffel Tower. Now that was an amazing sight. This is also the place where we spotted Megan Fox! She was going to the Armani fashion show across the street from the Tower, which was pretty stinkin' awesome. Plus the paparazzi started taking pictures of us, sadly we were all eating some pizza so we weren't really wanting pictures of us stuffing our faces!

Here is the Notre Dame, in which I was a bit freaked out. For some odd reason I have a phobia of the Hunchback. Hahaha! But it was beautiful nonetheless. :)

It was an adventure of a lifetime!

Later Days. :)

Despicable Me.

Is the cutest movie I've seen in a loooooong time.

"IT'S SO FLUFFY, I MIGHT DIE!!" -Agnes.

So, so, so cute! :)
I went and saw it tonight with Shelby, Nicole, and Sam! :) My best friends. I also turned in an application over at their theatres. Since I worked at a movie theatre before, I'm hoping it puts my application on the top of the list. They are hiring for the next school year. So fingers crossed I get the job. As lame as it seems, it saves A LOT on entertainment costs. lol With free movies, it makes for a really good life. lol I just need something to get me through school. Sheesh it's hard not having a job. :/ But no sense in complaining, just gotta keep working at it.
Other than seeing the movie it's been a pretty uneventful day, So You Think You Can Dance is on tonight. It's the show I'm addicted to! It's awesome! I've always wished I could dance like those dancers. But I have just as much fun watching them.
So I was asking my sister what I should write about in here, and I think I should probably write a little about myself. For those people who just go through blogs and read them. Hahah Although that is kinda creepy. But anywho. My name is Sidney. Sin City born and raised. Do I like it, no. Do I go to the casino's, sometimes. Do I have any suggestions on which shows to see downtown, no. Hahaha. I'm in my 3rd semester of college. Majoring in Elementary Education. I want to be a 2nd grade teacher. I'm a member of The Church of Latter Day Saints, in which I have a testimony of. I have a phobia of the Hunchback of Notre Dame and E.T., don't ask me why. They just creep me out. I'm terrified of needles, or any sharp things at that. I love to swim, dance, and watch movies. I have a top 10 list of my fave movies, but it changes everytime I see a movie. Let's see, I don't eat baby animals or anything that comes out of the water. Just because I think it's all gross. :P I think that's about it. Oh! And my favorite color is periwinkle! :)
Hahaha, that's a lot to take in.
I also would like to take a minute and pay a little tribute to one of the greatest women I've ever known. Her name is Charlotte May McCourt. She was my great-grandmother, and she passed away on July 8th, 2010. I have a lot of wonderful memories with that lady. She was like my second mother. She took care of me when I was little, all through my pre-teen and teenage years. She was always there with great advise, even though sometimes I would shrug it off like a dumb teenager. She was my best friend. She is my best friend. I'm not really good with dealing with death, I kind of put up a wall and I don't let anything or anyone in. I think this blog will help with coping. My grandma, was such a strong individual. And quirky at that. She always told me she was going to be there when I had children and spoil them like no other. And even though she might not be here physically, I know she is watching from above. She is watching with her mother by her side, and Jordan on the other. She is watching and waiting for me. I love her with all my heart. And I'm going to make her proud.
Thanks for listening to me vent.
Later Days.

Greetings Loved Ones; Let's Take A Journey.

So I thought I would hop on the bandwagon and create a blog. I've had one before, but nothing was really going on in life then so it was quite boring to be honest. But now, I've actually got some things going on, so it might be a little more interesting. :) ..hopefully.
Well I guess for my first post I'll write a little about what is going on. :) Right now, I'm in that part of life where it seems like time is ticking by really slow. It's almost to the point where I'm really wishing I could just fast forward about 3 years. That's all, just 3. Get college over and done with, get my own place, and have a steady career. Is that too much to ask? But since that is physically impossible, (unless anyone can suggest a Time Machine specialist??) I'm getting all signed up for Fall semester. I'm taking 4 classes: Philosophy, Sociology, Child Psychology, and Math. That should be...interesting. I'm getting most of my generals out of the way, since I'm almost done with them. Then I'm gunna be taking my Major classes, which is Elementary Education. :) I'm pretty excited about it. It's always been something in the back of my mind, and I've even taken some college classes for it when I was in High school, but it's career that I would love and enjoy. I'm just really excited and can't wait to get started.
I think that's it for today. :)
Later days.
